The preservation of evidence from websites, WhatsApp chat histories and social media is becoming increasingly important. The scope of application in legal matters ranges from private individuals in marital disputes through to large corporations struggling with unjustified Google ratings.

The start-up NetzBeweis from the Höhle der Löwen, represented in Switzerland by licensee Weblaw, is a very promising pioneer in the field of electronic evidence preservation.

It was great to attend this year's LAWorld AGM. The BGPartner delegation experienced and participated in interesting panel discussions, sharing of best practices and had many interesting conversations on various legal topics with LAWorld members from all over the world. The event proved once again that LAWorld is a unique and vibrant international legal network with strong ties amongst its highly professional members that go beyond any ordinary network.

BGPartner was the proud host of the Vis Moot Court Trial Round in March and our “judges” Michael Bader (chief justice), Thomas Gysin, Maja Rasovic (judges) and “clerk” Tanja Aebersold had the pleasure to work with Team Berne and Team Zurich in their preparations for the finals.
