We are offering a position in our office in Bern (as of 1 September 2023) and Zurich (always at the beginning of spring and the beginning of autumn) as a

Trainee Position
100% Workload for 12 months

We are a leading national and international boutique business law firm with offices in Berne and Zurich. Our dedicated and experienced team of lawyers provides advice and acts in litigation matters on behalf of companies and private individuals in all areas of commercial law (particularly in contract law and company law, M&A and capital markets law) and in planning and construction law. Our national and international network also allows us to handle supra-regional and international mandates.

Our trainees become familiarised with the entire spectrum of the work of attorneys. For this reason, they are thrown “into the deep end” from the start and receive assignments in the same manner as “ripe” attorneys. Among their tasks are the preparing of legal evaluations, the editing of contracts, the drafting of pleadings, as well as contact with clients, opposing counsel, and authorities.

We offer:

  • Interesting and varied work in different areas of law
  • Good supervision and preparation for the bar exam
  • Dynamic, flexible team
  • Modern infrastructure and beautiful office space in town

We expect:

  • Good law degree
  • Native speaker of German
  • Good knowledge of foreign languages, especially English / French
  • Good computer skills
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Flexibility and willingness to perform
  • Accurate and independent working method
  • Preferably a previous court internship or a comparable internship

Of course, we fully integrate our interns into our team. They are not only present at the overall office meetings, but also at our diverse social events (Jazz Brunch, ProAm, Ski Weekend and much more).

If you are interested in the internship, Olivier Bula (BE/ZH) is looking forward to receiving your meaningful application.

Student Positions

Our firm in Berne offers the possibility to students of gaining an initial insight into the work performed by attorneys during a short internship at the Bern office of three to six weeks.

The students are essentially supervised by trainees but also get the opportunity to be present at client consultations with attorneys or within the team and, if possible, to also attend judicial proceedings. They are assigned to collaborate in cases according to their specific prior knowledge.

We accept applications at all times from those studying both in Switzerland and abroad. If you are interested in an introductory internship, please address your application together with the customary documentation to:
